DEXTER -- Edith Edwards, 86, of Rolla died Monday, Feb. 15, 1999, at Rolla.
She was born Dec. 18, 1912, at Dexter, daughter of Samuel and Lucy Skelton McClard. She married Paul Edwards, who preceded her in death.
Edwards lived at Dexter most of her life, and had worked at Elder Manufacturing Co. She retired in 1975 and moved to Rolla.
She was a life member of Hills General Baptist Church near Dexter, and was pianist many years.
Survivors include a son, Doyle Edwards of Rolla; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield from 6-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hill Cemetery near Bloomfield.
