Edith Dodd, 92, of Jackson died Saturday, June 29, 2019, at Jackson Manor.
She was born March 11, 1926, to William and Gladys Collier. She and Joe Dodd were married June 18, 1960, at St. Louis. He preceded her in death June 19, 1995.
She was a court reporter in St. Louis.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson.
Survivors include her two stepsons, Jerry Dodd of Longdale, Missouri, and Paul Dodd of O'Fallon, Missouri; three stepdaughters, Gail Wright of New Florence, Missouri, Mary Jo Manion of St. Peters, Missouri, and Linda Runyon of O'Fallon; brother, James Collier of St. Louis; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral will be at noon today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jason Shaw officiating. Burial will be at Old Goshen Cemetery in Oak Ridge.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
