ANNA, Ill. -- Edith Cox, 87, of Anna died Thursday, Jan. 15, 1998, at the City Care Center in Anna. She was born March 24, 1910, daughter of Charles E. and Mollie M. Henderson Slightom. She married Emery Cox on Oct. 18, 1936. He died on Jan. 18, 1984...
ANNA, Ill. -- Edith Cox, 87, of Anna died Thursday, Jan. 15, 1998, at the City Care Center in Anna.
She was born March 24, 1910, daughter of Charles E. and Mollie M. Henderson Slightom.
She married Emery Cox on Oct. 18, 1936. He died on Jan. 18, 1984.
Survivors include two nephews and two nieces.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Monday at Crain Funeral Home in Anna.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Alonzo Dale will officiate.
Burial will be in the Anna Cemetery.
