Edith C. Ridings, 93, of Cape Girardeau, died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 1993, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center.
She was born April 1, 1900, in Jackson, daughter of Andrew and Mamie Conrad Masters. She and George H. Ridings were married Feb. 3, 1918, in Arbyrd. He died Nov. 28, 1971.
The Ridings moved here in 1960 from Kennett. She was a member of First Baptist Church and its Golden Rule Sunday School Class, and member of Fort D Senior Citizens.
Survivors include three sons, Dr. Harold Ridings of Cape Girardeau, Charles Ridings of Austin, Texas, Donald Ridings of Bradenton, Fla.; a daughter, Wenona Harrison of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Guy Masters of state of Florida, Paul and Edwin Masters of Pontiac, Mich.; a sister, Ruth Seabaugh of Advance; 11 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Gary Scheidt will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. today.
