EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral for Edith Mae Bolden of East Prairie will be held at 1 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home. Dewayne Jolly, Walter Stevenson and Ross Coy will officiate. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.

Bolden, 70, died Saturday, Oct. 23, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born March 9, 1929, in Indianapolis, Ind., daughter of Virgil and Zora Foster Chastain. She and James A. Bolden were married May 31, 1946.

Bolden lived in East Prairie 37 years. She was a member of Gospel Assembly Church.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Jerry A. Bolden of East Prairie; two daughters, Becky Nelson of Frankfort, Ky., Bonnie Manning of East Prairie; two sisters, Stella Jones of Speedway, Ind., Ola Adkisson of Zionsville, Ind.; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter and a brother.
