ADVANCE, Mo. -- Edison Donley, 68, of Advance died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born Nov. 21, 1932, at Sturdivant, Mo., son of Ernest and Ella Elmore Donley. Donley was retired from Wal-Mart Corp. Survivors include a son, Tommy Donley of St. Louis; three brothers, Eugene Donley of Advance, Vernon and Sam Donley of St. Louis; two sisters, Ruth Garner and Lucille Donley of Advance...

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Edison Donley, 68, of Advance died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Nov. 21, 1932, at Sturdivant, Mo., son of Ernest and Ella Elmore Donley.

Donley was retired from Wal-Mart Corp.

Survivors include a son, Tommy Donley of St. Louis; three brothers, Eugene Donley of Advance, Vernon and Sam Donley of St. Louis; two sisters, Ruth Garner and Lucille Donley of Advance.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Morgan Funeral Home, with the Rev. James Johns officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 8 a.m. until time of service.
