Edgar V. Sewing, 83, of Gordonville died Thursday, May 1, 2008, at his home. He was born Feb. 16, 1925, in Gordonville, son of Fredrick and Anna Grossheider Sewing. Sewing lived and worked on the family farm east of Gordonville all his life. Edgar V. Sewing, 83, of Gordonville died Thursday, May 1, 2008, at his home.
He was born Feb. 16, 1925, in Gordonville, son of Fredrick and Anna Grossheider Sewing.
Sewing lived and worked on the family farm east of Gordonville all his life. He attended Zion Lutheran School and Abernathy School near Gordonville, and was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church in Gordonville.

Survivors include a brother, Walter Sewing of Jackson.
He was preceded in death by two sisters.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. to service time Sunday at Zion Lutheran Church.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the church, with the Rev. Gary Hoffstetter officiating. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
