Edgar Louis Moll, 90, of Jackson passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Feb. 21, 1925, in Burfordville, son of Herman and Edna Siebert Moll. He and Helen S. Peetz were married June 6, 1948, at Tilsit. She passed away Dec. 17, 2010.

​Edgar served in the United States Army from 1944 to 1946 during World War II.

After returning home from the Army, he and Helen married and lived on a farm east of Tilsit for 60 years, where they enjoyed raising cattle and crops. He worked at the former Seabaugh Construction and Jackson Excavating companies. Edgar was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church at Tilsit, where he served as a trustee. He and Helen also served as church custodians many years.

Loving survivors include a son, Glenn (Karen) Moll of Jasper, Missouri, and children Cheryl, Justin and Bradley (Donya) Moll; two daughters, Grace (the late Don) Keller of Jackson and children Brian (Katie) Keller and Laura (Ben) Meyr, and Wanda (Mark) Aufdenberg of Gordonville and children Julie, Nathan and Andrew Aufdenberg; a sister, Lorene Bohnert of Crosstown, Missouri; and two great-grandchildren, Lucy and Oliver Keller.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ervin and Albert Moll, and a young sister, Norma.

Friends may call from 1 p.m. until time of service today at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Tilsit.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at the church, with the Rev. Mark Boettcher officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery, with full military honors.

Memorial contributions may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
