MILLERSVILLE -- Funeral service for Edgar Fellows of Millersville will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at McCombs Funeral Chapel in Jackson. The Rev. Lloyd Bollinger will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery at Jackson.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Fellows, 81, died Monday, June 7, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Nov. 25, 1911, at Lixville, son of Louis and Ida Bollinger Fellows. He and Madonna Reitman were married Oct. 17, 1936.
Fellows had farmed all his life and also had been a rural mail carrier out of Millersville, drove a gasoline truck for the former Farm Bureau, and had worked at Bollinger Feed and Seed at Millersville, retiring in 1976.
He was a volunteer fireman at Millersville from 1977-86, and was a member of Millersville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Andy Fellows of Jackson; a daughter, Sarah McCullough of Millersville; four sisters, Ella Oster of Perryville, Ethel Schwab of Jefferson City, Violet Hartle of Sedgewickville, Dorothy Proffer of Jackson; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
