Eddie Joe Cronenbold, 77, of Jackson died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022. He was born Oct. 31, 1944, in Cape Girardeau to Chester L. and Dorothy Allen Cronenbold. Eddie Joe Cronenbold, 77, of Jackson died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022.

He was born Oct. 31, 1944, in Cape Girardeau to Chester L. and Dorothy Allen Cronenbold.

He was a graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School in 1964.

He loved animals, especially dogs. He also loved drinking A&W root beer and the Saint Louis Cardinals.

Survivors include three sisters, Delores Brents of Valrico, Florida; Carolyn (Kenny) Wachter of Jackson; and Karen (John) Berry of Jenks, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral service will be at noon Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Steve Vester officiating. Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
