FESTUS -- Ed Gann, 62, of Festus, died Monday, Jan. 2, 1995, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Crystal City.
He was born Oct. 3, 1932, at Elvins, son of Robert Alonzo and Beulah Wilma Stricklin Gann. He married Patricia Johnson.
Gann received a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Woodbury Business College, and received a master's degree in business education and a teaching certificate from Southeast Missouri State University.
He was a business-industry specialist with the University of Missouri Extension Center in Hillsboro. He was a member of Sandy Baptist Church in Hillsboro, Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite Bodies, Moolah Shrine, Jefferson County Beekeepers, University of Missouri Home Based Business Task Force, and past president and Paul Harris Fellow of Festus-Crystal City Rotary Club. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife; two brothers, Alvin Gann of Jackson and Richard Gann of Rogersville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Friends may call at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus from 5-9 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Sandy Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jeb Bonine officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
