BENTON -- Easter May Miller, 90, of Benton died Thursday, Oct. 9, 1997, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. She was born Feb. 23, 1907, at Benton, daughter of James W. and May Harbison Farris. She and Lester Miller Sr. were married in 1925 at Benton. He died in 1968...

BENTON -- Easter May Miller, 90, of Benton died Thursday, Oct. 9, 1997, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 23, 1907, at Benton, daughter of James W. and May Harbison Farris. She and Lester Miller Sr. were married in 1925 at Benton. He died in 1968.

Miller was librarian at Riverside Regional Library 15 years. She was a member of Benton United Methodist Church and its United Methodist Women.

Survivors include two sons, Lester Miller of Benton, Thomas Miller of Tallahassee, Fla.; a sister, Edna Caldwell of Rolla; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and two brothers.

Friends may call today from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Benton. Funeral service will be at 2 today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bennie Wilsey officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery at Morley.
