MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Earl Ray Storie, 66, of Corning, Ark., and formerly of Sullivan, Mo., died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2001, at his home following a lengthy illness.
He was born June 16, 1935, at St. Louis, son of Earl C. and Katherine Hudson Storie. He and Ann Crutchfield were married April 18, 1971.
He had worked as a heavy equipment operator before his illness.
Survivors include his wife; his mother of Marble Hill; a son, Timmy Storie of Alaska; four daughters, Bonnie Lewis and Tina Forester, both of Pacific, Mo., Penny Simmons and Cindy Storie, both of Texas; two brothers, Dean and Leroy Storie, both of Glen Allen, Mo.; a sister, Grace Borja of Long Beach, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kenneth Shoemaker officiating. Burial will be in New Trace Creek Cemetery near Glen Allen.
