Earl P. Robert, 83, of 709 Morgan Oak died Wednesday, June 23, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 5, 1909 in Cape Girardeau, the son of John and Emma Stiemle Robert.
On June 2, 1936, he married Marie M. Dohogne in Cape Girardeau. She survives.
He served in the Navy. He worked as a bookkeeper for Missouri Utilities until his retirement.
He was a member of the Western Catholic Union, and a past member of the Better Service Club and the former St. Joseph's School Association.
Besides his wife, survivors include two sons, John Robert of Davenport, Iowa, and Richard Robert of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Pat Miller of Washington; one sister, Ann Isaac of Independence; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Friends may call at the Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel after 4:30 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be held at the funeral chapel at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Cathedral with the Rev. James A. Seyer officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery with military graveside rites.
