KARNAK, Ill. -- Earl McKinney, 84, of Karnak died Thursday, Nov. 6, 1997, at Hillview Nursing Home in Vienna.
He was born June 12, 1913, in Massac County, son of Orland and Grace Pearl McKinney.
McKinney was retired from Main Brothers Box and Lumber Co.

Survivors include a son, Norman McKinney of Simpson; a sister, Marie Miles of Nutbush, Tenn.; and a brother, George McKinney of Zion.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary.
Friends may call at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak after 11 a.m. Saturday.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joey Dunning officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery at Cypress.
