JACKSON -- Funeral service for Earl L. Marston of Jackson will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. The Rev. J. Friedel will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Marston, 77, died Monday, Oct. 20, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Nov. 22, 1919, in Kansas City, son of Earl and Marian Namysol Marston. He and Victoria Sorensen were married Sept. 12, 1942.
Marston was a truck driver and then dispatcher many years with Grane Trucking Co. of Chicago. He retired in 1985 and moved to Jackson. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus in Jackson.
Survivors include three sons, Glen Marston of Albany, Ill., Kenneth Marston of Scott City, Gregory Marston of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Marian Kyriakopulas of Chicago; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
