OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Earl Lipe, 84, of Olive Branch died Thursday, Feb. 13, 1997, at his home.
He was born Nov. 21, 1912, in Olive Branch, son of David Oscar and Rosa Hannah Kelley Lipe. He and Ruby Bledsoe were married July 21, 1934.
Lipe was a retired carpenter and farmer. He was a member of Trinity Assembly of God Church, and Carpenters Local 812.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Mike Lipe of Olive Branch; a daughter, Sue Wilson of Cairo; a sister, Hazel Foster of Olive Branch; a brother, Jess Lipe of South Roxana, Ill.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, daughter, sister and brother.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms from 5-8 p.m. Friday.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Carl Hester and Billy Don Heady officiating. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery.
