DEXTER -- Earl Leon Kent, 61, of Dexter died Friday, Aug. 14, 1992, at Doctors Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
He was born Sept. 5, 1930 in Cape Girardeau, the son of Pearl Cornelius and Manna Pauline Wendeknecht Kent.
He had resided in Dexter for 29 years, having moved from Cape Girardeau. He was a member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Dexter.
On Aug. 23, 1963, he married Dorris June Tucker at Bernie. She survives.
He is also survived by one son, Steve Kent, Dexter; one daughter, Lora Kent, Dexter; two brothers, P.J. Kent, Cahokia, Ill., Jerry Kent, Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Elaine Winder, Cape Girardeau, Nancy Littleton, Jackson; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Friends may call at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter after 4 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Dexter with the Rev. Jimmy Kirby of Dexter officiating. Burial will be in the Hagy Cemetery at Dexter.
