Earl Koenig

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Earl W. Koenig, 77, of Perryville died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017, at Estates of Perryville.

He was born July 29, 1940, in Uniontown, Missouri, son of William F. and Amanda Franke Koenig. He and Norma J. Pickens Ulrich Koenig were married July 5, 1985. She survives in Perryville.

He had been a dairy farmer and had worked for TG-USA. He was a member at Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Other survivors include one stepson, Paul "Eric" Ulrich of Perryville; one stepdaughter, Robin Kennedy of St. Charles, Missouri; one sister, Alice Pfeiffer of Oak Ridge; two stepgrandchildren; two great-stepgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Herbert and Waldemar "Wally" Koenig; and two sisters, Irma Koeberl and Dorothy Bock.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville, with the Rev. Matthew Marks officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials preferred to Immanuel Lutheran School or Saxony Lutheran High School.
