MARBLE HILL -- Earl Gohn, 81, of Marble Hill, died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 1993, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.
He was born July 27, 1912, at Lutesville, son of Henry P. and Lucy Elizabeth Hill Gohn. He first married Ella Louise Upchurch June 17, 1947. She died Nov. 14, 1982. He and Laverne Farmer were married July 16, 1983.
Gohn was a retired assemblyline worker with Ford Motor Co. He was a member and deacon at Little Valley General Baptist Church here. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Linda Gohn of Marble Hill; a brother, Kelley Gohn of Jackson; two sisters, Mildred Wyman and Ina Nuckles of Virginia.
He was preceded in death by an infant son and two brothers.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Liley Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. The Revs. Dale Wiseman and Aaron Allen will officiate, with burial in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
