DEXTER -- Funeral service for Earl C. Bilderback of Houston, Mo., will be held at 1 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter. Rick Bilderback will officiate. Burial will be in Hagy Cemetery at Dexter.

Bilderback, 71, died Wednesday, March 22, 1995, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.

He was born April 23, 1923, at Parma, son of Ira and Ruth Kinder Bilderback. He and Jessie Locke were married Dec. 22, 1951.

Bilderback was a former refrigeration and air conditioning service man in Fort Leonard Wood. He was a member of Houston Christian Church, Houston Masonic Lodge, Houston IOOF, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and was a 32nd Degree Mason.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Rick Bilderback of Columbia; a daughter, Marsha Swallows of Dexter; two brothers, Wayne Bilderback of Campbell, Jack Bilderback of Kelso, Wash.; three sisters, June Fowler of Dexter, Betty Altom of Poplar Bluff, Patsy Stevens of Bellingham, Wash., and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.
