DWIGHT L. PETERS

PUXICO -- Dwight L. Peters, 77, of Puxico, died Tuesday, April 30, 1991, at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff.

He was born Aug. 25, 1913, at Puxico. He and Stella Vardell were married Dec. 24, 1936

Peters was a retired farmer, and attended Egypt Community Church.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Dallas and Ronald Peters of Dexter; three daughters, Alice Latham of Sikeston, Sheila Johnston of Sparks, Nev., Janiece Gill of Cape Girardeau; a half brother, Warren Peters of Festus; a half sister, Margaret Alexander of Citrus Heights, Calif.; a stepsister, Edna Crabtree of Citrus Heights; 12 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at Morgan-Sifford Funeral Chapel in Puxico. The Rev. Gene Robbins will officiate, with burial in Puxico City Cemetery.
