ESSEX -- Dwight Blunt, 82, of Essex, died Saturday, Aug. 19, 1995, at his home.
He was born Dec. 25, 1912, at Dexter, son of Sylvester and Maggie Teachenor Blunt. He and Helen Snider were married Nov. 18, 1934, in Piggott, Ark.
Blunt was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Curtis Blunt of Essex, James Blunt of Bloomfield; two daughters, Norma Williams and Judith Mitchell of Las Vegas, Nev.; a sister, Neva Odum of Sikeston; nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five brothers and a grandchild.
Friends may call at Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Doyle Corlew and Dan Sitze officiating. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery.
