Dustin Ray Wren, 34, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 9, 1981, in Cape Girardeau to Normie Allen Farver and Teresa Ann Wren.
Dustin was a self-employed auto mechanic who was passionate about old, classic cars. He loved his kids and St. Louis Cardinals baseball. He was an artist and enjoyed camping and fishing. Dustin was extremely fond of his grandmother, Georgia Wren, and his uncles Kenny Wren and Dwain Cooper.
Survivors include his father, Normie Allen Farver of Donna, Texas; his mother, Teresa Ann Wren of Cape Girardeau; a son, Elijah Ray Wren of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Taylor Marie Wren and Justice Ann Nicole Wren, both of Cape Girardeau, and Releigh Danielle Wren of Chaffee, Missouri; a brother, Justin Farver of Wickliffe, Kentucky; a sister, Baylee Nicole Wren of Cape Girardeau; a grandmother, Georgia Wren of Cape Girardeau; and two uncles, Kenny Wren of Cape Girardeau and Dwain Cooper of Scott City. He also is survived by several other aunts, uncles, cousins and loved ones.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Rocky Bierschwal officiating. Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Ford and Sons Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
