Dustin Dakota Birch, 22, of Buckeye, Ariz., passed away Monday, Feb. 3, 2014.
He was born Nov. 21, 1991, in Cape Girardeau, to Tammy Seabaugh Allen and Michael Allen Birch.
Dustin took control of his own life at an early age, succeeding in reaching his goal of visiting every state in the U.S. His favorite pastimes beyond traveling were reading and entertaining his family and friends with his engaging personality.
Loving survivors include his mother, Tammy of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Cheyenne; his father, Mike (Teresa Parker) of St. Louis; a stepbrother, (Mason); a stepsister, (Ruby) of St. Louis; and a niece, (Nikki) of Tennessee.
Also maternal grandparents, Doug (Marie) Seabaugh and Sharon (Bill Alexander), all of Tennessee; paternal grandparents, Patricia and Paul Grebe of Cape Girardeau and James Birch of St. Louis; and great-grandmother, Vi Mosby of Cottage Hills, Ill. He was also blessed with an extra set of grandparents, Daniel and Joann Fisher of Dutchtown, and many wonderful aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance, Mo.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Brian Gill officiating.
In honor of Dustin's love for nature, the family requests no cut flowers, only live plants. Or in lieu of flowers, a donation in his name to any U.S. presidential library.
