CAIRO, Ill. -- Durby Mayfield, 79, of Cairo died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010, at his home. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Cairo. Visitation will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the funeral. Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Mound City, Ill. National Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Ellis officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Illinois National Guard and area veterans...
