CHARLESTON -- Duane Kent Eastman, 43, of Charleston died Friday, May 19, 2000, from injuries received in an automobile accident near Charleston.
He was born Feb. 18, 1957, in Sikeston, son of Duane Guy and Betty Allen Eastman.
Eastman was a graduate of Charleston High School. He was a superintendent with Biokyowa Inc. in Cape Girardeau. He retired as a captain with Missouri National Guard.
He was a member of First Baptist Church and Charleston Masonic Lodge 407 AF&AM.
Survivors include a son, Garrison Eastman of Wyatt; two daughters, Ginnifer and Gretchen Eastman of Wyatt; his parents of Charleston; a sister, Cyndi Adams of Jackson; and maternal grandparents, Leondas and Irene Allen of East Prairie.
He was preceded in death by a brother and paternal grandparents.
Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gerald Collier officiating. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park.
