Dr. Troy Edwards

Dr. Troy W. Edwards, 90, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Carbondale, Ill., died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2006.

Friends may call at Meredith Funeral Home in Carbondale from noon until time of service Monday.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Frank Pierce officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Carbondale.

Memorial donations are the preferred form of remembrance and may be made to Centenary United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau, or to a Humane Society.
