Dr. Ray Ridings, 73, of Route 2, Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, Dec. 26, 1991, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 22, 1918, at Arbyrd, Mo., son of Gus and Edith Masters Ridings.
He married Mary White on Dec. 28, 1941, in Jonesboro, Ill. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother, Edith Ridings, Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Patricia Ridings, Boston, Mass. and Sandra Ridings-Hesser of Tulsa, Okla.; three brothers, Dr. Harold Ridings of Cape Girardeau, Charles Ridings of Austin, Tex. and Donald Ridings of Bradenton, Fla.; sisters Wenona Harrison of Cape Girardeau; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Chapel between 6 and 8 p.m. today.
Private service will be held Monday with Rev. Gary Scheidt officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
Ridings was a member of the American Medical Association, American Radium Society, Society of Nuclear Medicine, AOA, RSNA, and ASTRA.
He was on the staff of the Oncology Center at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
