Dr. Charles Thomas Herbert Jr., 84, of Cape Girardeau passed away Monday, July 8, 2019, at his home. He was born Feb. 17, 1935, in St. Louis to Dr. Charles T. and Martha Nelms Herbert Sr. Charles practiced dentistry for many years, retiring in 1997. He had a passion for horses. He enjoyed horseback riding as well as breeding and training. He loved spending time outdoors...

He was born Feb. 17, 1935, in St. Louis to Dr. Charles T. and Martha Nelms Herbert Sr.
Charles practiced dentistry for many years, retiring in 1997. He had a passion for horses. He enjoyed horseback riding as well as breeding and training. He loved spending time outdoors.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Herbert of Cape Girardeau, and many friends.
Cremation rites will be accorded by Crain Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Francis Hospice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
