MORLEY, Mo. -- Doyle Wayne Canady, son of Pauline Semancik of Delta and the late Velmer "Red" Canady, was born June 7, 1957, in Sikeston, Missouri, and departed this life Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2020, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau at the age of 62 years.
Doyle was a former boilermaker for Local Union 27 in St. Louis, a member of Morley Baptist Church and a resident of Morley.
He was united in marriage to Cindy Lyn Dunker on Oct. 1, 1977, in Rockview, Missouri. She survives of the home in Morley.
Besides his wife, Cindy Canady, and mother, Pauline Semancik, other survivors include sons, Anthony Travis of Saint Marys, Georgia, and Eric (Chasity) Canady of Morley; daughter, Amy (Bryan) Brzycki of St. Louis; brothers, David Canady of Cherokee Ridge, Arkansas, and Tommy and Jerry Canady, both of Cape Girardeau; sisters, Mary Jo Summers of Scott City and Diane Amelunke of Delta; and grandchildren, Mallory, Hailey, Madeline, Lydia, Katelyn and Tyler.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, Missouri.
Funeral will follow at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Matthews officiating. Interment will be at New Morley Cemetery.
