DOUGLAS PAUL MILLER

SCOTT CITY -- -- Douglas Paul Miller, 36, of Scott City Route 1, died Thursday, Dec. 26, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born July 23, 1960, at Cape Girardeau, son of Maurice Paul and Connie Fay Payne Miller.

He graduated from Scott City High School in 1979. He was a butcher with Fruitland Dressed Meats. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church at Scott City and the Elk's Lodge 2652 of Jackson.

Survivors include his parents of Scott City; his fiancee, Leila Jones of Jackson; a son, Derek Miller of the home; a daughter, Ashley Miller of the home; and five sisters, Bonnie Miller of Scott City, Tory Charlier and Paula Miller, both of Cape Girardeau, Becky Cummins of Chaffee and Joy Frey of Kelso.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Funeral service will be at 9 a.m. Monday at the church. The Rev. Pat Wissman will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
