Douglas Hargrove

Chaffee, Mo. -- Douglas Eugene Hargrove, 63, of Chaffee passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at Rubbermaid in Jackson.

He was born Oct. 16, 1954, in Concord, Arkansas, to the late Billy and Loretta Bracket Hargrove. He and Sharon Smiley married Dec. 18, 1976, and she survives of the home.

Doug was a manufacturing supervisor for Rubbermaid in Jackson. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Rockview, Missouri.

He is survived by his mother, Loretta Hargrove of Batesville, Arkansas; his wife, Sharon Hargrove; a son, William (Amanda) Hargrove of Chaffee; two brothers, Eddie Hargrove of Scott City and Shane Hargrove of Batesville; a stepsister, Robin Mirley of Ballwin, Missouri; and a granddaughter, Guinevere Hargrove.

He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Hargrove, and a brother, Jerry Hargrove.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. until time of service Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Chapel, with the Rev. Gwen Streeter officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
