SIKESTON -- Dortha May Culp, 79, of Sikeston, died Thursday, April 21, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born May 24, 1914 in Essex to James William and Florah Book Cannon.
She married Theodore "Ted" Culp on May 16, 1936 in Cardwell. He preceded her in death on March 18, 1974.
She attended Illinois Ave. General Baptist Church. She was a cook for Sikeston Public Schools a number of years.
Survivors include two brothers, Melvin Cannon of Middletown, Ind., and Henry Cannon of Indianapolis, Ind.; a sister, Dollie Clark of Apopka, Fl.; some nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a nephew.
Service will be held today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel at 3:30 p.m. with the Rev. Sam Book officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. today at the funeral chapel.
