OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Dorsie Mae Keesee, 84, of Olive Branch, formerly of Mound City, Ill., died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.
She was born Jan. 31, 1917, at Mayfield, Ky., daughter of John and Mary Brady Hudson Davis. She and Johnnie D. Keesee were married. He died Feb. 13, 1968.
She worked as a cook for Midsouth Tow Boat Co. and retired after 12 1/2 years with the company.
Survivors include a brother, James Davis of Mound City; three sisters, Bea Koen of Paducah, Ky., Helen Fitzgerald and Francis Warden, both of Mound City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge, Ill.
Service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Monsignor Bill McGhee officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge.
