Dorris E. Johnson, 71, 727 Bellevue, died Tuesday, March 9, 1993, at her home. She was born May 7, 1921, at Holcomb, daughter of Claude E. and Alice B. Hodges Meadows. She and James Rudolph "Rudi" Johnson were married Nov. 28, 1953. The Johnsons lived in Des Moines, Iowa, from 1954-86. She worked at several banks and at Wesley Acres Retirement Home. Dorris E. Johnson, 71, 727 Bellevue, died Tuesday, March 9, 1993, at her home.
She was born May 7, 1921, at Holcomb, daughter of Claude E. and Alice B. Hodges Meadows. She and James Rudolph "Rudi" Johnson were married Nov. 28, 1953.
The Johnsons lived in Des Moines, Iowa, from 1954-86. She worked at several banks and at Wesley Acres Retirement Home. She was a member of Holcomb Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, and a brother, Joe Meadows of Wichita, Kan.
She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-6 p.m. today.
Friends may also call at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett from 1-3:30 p.m. Friday, where the funeral service will be at 3:30. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens at Kennett.
