Dorothy M. Wright, 91, of Scott City died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2016, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Feb. 11, 1925, in Fornfelt, Missouri, to Gustav and Caroline Westrich Sprenger.
She married Louis Edward Wright on June 29, 1946.
He preceded her in death Oct. 1, 2005.
Dorothy was a member of the Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City and Ladies Aid of Church and taught 4-H.
She is survived by a son, Rodney (Judy) Wright of Jefferson City, Missouri; two daughters, Margaret (Ben) Parker of White Hall, Arkansas, and Linda (Charles) Rogers of Scott City; three grandchildren, Brian Parker, Darin (Tina) Rogers and Lisa Rogers; and three great-grandchildren, Payton and Houston Parker and Louis Rogers.
She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Victor Parker; a brother; and a sister.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City and from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Eisleben Lutheran Church.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with Pastor Marty Hasz officiating.
Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Eisleben Lutheran Church.
