MARBLE HILL, Mo. — Dorothy A. Wiedlocher, 86, of Marble Hill, formerly of Anna, Ill., died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008, at the home of a daughter in Marble Hill.
She was born March 28, 1922, in Washington Park, Ill., daughter of Marion and Nellie Mathias DeMond. She and Carl Wiedlocher Jr. were married Sept. 4, 1940. He died July 9, 1999.
Wiedlocher was a former member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Anna. She attended Anna-Jonesboro Community High School until her senior year, graduating from Sacred Heart Academy in Springfield, Ill., in 1940.
Survivors include four sons, Carl Wiedlocher III of Las Cruces, N.M., Frank Wiedlocher of Jefferson City, Mo., George Wiedlocher of Carbondale, Ill., David Wiedlocher of Lebanon, Tenn.; three daughters, Sharon Kopp of St. Petersburg Beach, Fla., Penny Ottesen of Marble Hill, Regina Wiedlocher of Henderson, Nev.; a brother, Charles DeMond of Belleville, Ill.; 17 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, a son, six brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Michael Butler officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery at Cobden, Ill.
