DOROTHY V. MILLS

Funeral service for Dorothy V. Mills of Union was held Thursday at Oltmann Funeral Home there. The Rev. Donald Fraker officiated, with burial in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery at Union.

Mills, 76, died Monday, July 11, 1994.

She was born March 16, 1918, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Albert and Amanda Sander. She and John Mills were married Sept. 23, 1940, in Cape Girardeau.

Mills gave swimming lessons at her home for 20 years. She was a member of a Lutheran Church and its Ladies Guild.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Dennis Mills of Douglas, Ariz.; a daughter, Debra Berg of San Jose, Calif.; two sisters, Erna Spalding and Belma Whitticre of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Albert Sander of Cape Girardeau, and two granddaughters.
