MARBLE HILL -- Dorothy Virginia Collins, 73, of Marble Hill, died Wednesday, June 2, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born July 5, 1919, at Sank, daughter of Melvin Andrew and Elizabeth Hawn Eaker. She and Rev. Truman Edward Collins were married Dec. 23, 1939. He died March 17, 1992.
Collins was a member of Hahn Chapel General Baptist Church, member of Wayside Witness Club, was active in various church organizations, and served on many women's denominational church boards.
Survivors include a son, Rev. Edward Collins of Ferguson; three brothers, Rev. Eldo Eaker of Zalma, Lloyd and Jean Eaker of St. Louis; two sisters, Reva Collins of Marble Hill, Melba Elledge of Advance, and two granddaughters.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hahn Chapel. The Revs. Gerald Huff, Eldo Eaker and Norman Elledge will officiate, with burial in Baker Cemetery.
