JACKSON -- Dorothy Bernice Seabaugh, 76, of Jackson died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 23, 1920, in Jackson, daughter of Otto J. and Grace I. Randol Davis. She and Odus Litzelfelner were married in June 1944. He died in 1945 in Germany during World War II. She later married William B. Seabaugh Nov. 1, 1947.
Seabaugh had been a secretary at Jackson Schools, Magistrate Court, and Seabaugh Motor and Implement in Jackson. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, its Esther Circle and Presbyterian Women; was a volunteer at St. Francis Medical Center, and charter member of the J.G. Social Club of Jackson.
She was a graduate of Jackson High School. She served with the U.S. Navy Waves as a telegrapher in Washington, D.C., from October 1942 to August 1944.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Allen Seabaugh of Hixson, Tenn.; a daughter, Carole Tuschoff of Baton Rouge, La.; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 9-11 a.m. Saturday.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Grant Gillard officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
