Dorothy Dodd Reid, 90, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2001, at Fountainbleau Lodge.
She was born April 27, 1911, in Arcadia, Mo., daughter of Hartford and Ruth Kanouse Collins. She and WC Reid were married Feb. 14, 1944, at Blytheville, Ark. He died Nov. 20, 1977.
Reid was a past president of Civic Club and Methodist Women's Club in Sikeston, Mo.
Survivors include two daughters, Sarah E. Lynch of Cape Girardeau, Mary D. Reid of Richmond, Va.; two grandsons, Sean Lynch and wife, Kristin, of St. Louis, and Collin Lynch of Keystone, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
There is no visitation.
Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston. The Rev. Anselm Williams will officiate.
A reception will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the home of Sarah Lynch, 2769 Adeline.
Memorials may be made to Cape Girardeau Public Library, Grace United Methodist Church, or Humane Society of Southeast Missouri.
