CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Dorothy Jane Goodin, 79, of Charleston died Tuesday, May 25, 2004, at Capetown Assisted Living Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born April 10, 1925, in Charleston, daughter of H.C. and Essie Della Stark Finley. She and Arthur Lee Goodin were married March 9, 1946. He died Aug. 2, 1991...
CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Dorothy Jane Goodin, 79, of Charleston died Tuesday, May 25, 2004, at Capetown Assisted Living Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born April 10, 1925, in Charleston, daughter of H.C. and Essie Della Stark Finley. She and Arthur Lee Goodin were married March 9, 1946. He died Aug. 2, 1991.
Goodin was a member of First Baptist Church and Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include two sons, Arthur "Artie" Goodin of Thebes, Ill., John Goodin of Charleston; a daughter, Lucianne Shoffner of Jackson, Tenn.; and 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Charleston, with Keith Huffman officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
