Dorothy L. Farishon, nee Schumer, of Florissant, Mo., died Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church.
Dorothy was born July 4, 1916, in Webster Groves, daughter of the late Edward and Clara Schumer.
She enjoyed quilting, puzzles and reading.
Farishon was the beloved wife of the late John E. Farishon; the dear mother of Betty (Joe) Shea; the dear grandmother of Joe and Karen Shea; and the dear sister of Lucille Sego.
She is survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Farishon was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters, Rosalia, Loretta, Cletus, LeRoy, Elbert and Charles.
Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hutchens Mortuary, 675 Graham Road, Florissant, with a rosary prayer at 7 p.m. Visit www.hutchensmortuary.com.
Funeral procession from Hutchens Mortuary to St. Ferdinand Church begins at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, with an 11 a.m. Mass.
Burial will be in St. Bridget's Cemetery in Pacific, Mo.
