BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- Dorothy Amna Duncan, 88, a former resident of Bloomfield, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2002, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Mo.
She was born Oct. 22, 1913, at Hunterville, Mo., daughter of Cyrus and Lula Bradford Blevins. She and Ray S. Duncan were married Nov. 30, 1935, at Dexter. He died Feb. 2, 1971.
She had lived in the Hunterville and Circle City, Mo., area for 62 years before moving to Bloomfield 26 years ago.
Survivors include four sons, Charles Duncan of Bernie, Mo., Doyle Duncan of Afton, Mo., Jerry Duncan of Essex, Mo., and Jimmie Duncan of Bloomfield; a daughter, Loretta Ferguson of Bloomfield; three sisters, Fredia Blevins of Bernie, Imogene Lape of Parma, Mo., and Faye Geno of Malden, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death a daughter, three brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Doyle Corlew and Debbie Mooney officiating. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery.
