DOROTHY COTNER

JACKSON -- Dorothy Cotner, 69, of Jackson died Tuesday, Dec. 17, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born March 18, 1927, near Oriole, daughter of Robert Loren and Addie McCormick Humes. She and Lee Cotner were married June 8, 1946, at Jackson.

Cotner worked 26 years at Lee-Rowan Co. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Edith Nance of Jackson, Dorothy Schreiner of Gordonville; a son, Douglas Cotner of Jackson; a brother, Leroy Humes of Jackson; three grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joe McCullough officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
