DEXTER, Mo. -- Dorothy LaVerne Caldwell, 70, of Dexter died Monday, Nov. 26, 2001, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Jan. 29, 1931, at Dexter, daughter of Lee and Maude Joseph Rowe. She and Richard Caldwell were married May 22, 1949, at Dexter.
Caldwell attended Pleasant Grove Church near Dexter.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Michael Caldwell of Poplar Bluff; a daughter, Brenda Rolwing of Sikeston, Mo.; two sisters, Betty Heinlein of Belleville, Ill., Barbara Hargrave of Dupo, Ill.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
Friends may call at Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dale Shearon officiating. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery.
