Dorothy Louise Wyatt Boyd, 71, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Nov. 20, 1938, at Sank, Mo., daughter of Dolphie Lee Sr. and Alda Elizabeth Myers Fisher. She and James Wyatt were married June 7, 1958. He died April 11, 1988. She then married Don Boyd on Jan. 10, 1990, at County Line Baptist Church in Bollinger County.
Louise was vice president of purchasing at Henschel. She was a member of Red Star Baptist Church where she played the organ and piano and was a Sunday school teacher.
Survivors include her husband, Don; three sons, Jeff (Linda) Wyatt of Gordonville, Daryl (Mary) Wyatt of Kennett, Mo., Dan (Cathy) Wyatt of Jackson; two stepsons, Scott Boyd of Fort Benning, Ga., Charles Boyd of Wichita, Kan.; two stepdaughters, Martha Golden of Cape Girardeau, Linda Meadows of Springfield, Mo.; a brother, Joseph Fisher of Florissant, Mo.; four sisters, Catherine Henson of Cape Girardeau, Rachel Winchester of Marble Hill, Mo., Janice Cloninger of Zalma, Mo., Wilma Jean Johns of St. Louis; eight grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and seven great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, D.L. Fisher Jr.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Red Star Baptist Church.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, with the Rev. Rick Crump officiating. Burial will be in Grassy Friendship Cemetery at Grassy, Mo.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Heart Association or Red Star Baptist Church.
