Dorothy Baxter

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Dorothy Mae Baxter, 82, of Perryville died Thursday, July 31, 2014, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born April 30, 1932, at Robertsville, Missouri, to Everett and Mae Warren Boyd. She and Leo W. Baxter were married April 7, 1951, at Owensville, Missouri. He preceded her in death July 4, 2014.

Dorothy was an administrative assistant at Coin Accepters until retiring.

Survivors include a daughter, Deborah Wideman of Perryville; a brother, Richard Boyd of Owensville; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a son, Terry Baxter.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and 6:30 a.m. until service time Tuesday at Miller Family Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating. Burial will be at a later date in St. Patrick's Cemetery at Laurie, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
