Dorothy Ann Wilson Aldrich, 75, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Aug. 4, 1931, in St. Louis, daughter of Voris and Farrie Campbell Wilson. She and the Rev. Paul Aldrich, pastor of First Church of the Nazarene from 1971 to 1976, were married Feb. 10, 1951. He died May 14, 1996, after 45 years of marriage.
She is survived by a son, Brad Aldrich of Washington, D.C.; a daughter, Paula Pletcher and husband Richard of Cape Girardeau; her mother, Farrie Wilson of New Orleans, La.; fiance, Ed Gerken of St. Louis; two grandchildren, Bryon Pletcher and wife Beth of Cape Girardeau, Laura Cook and husband Dustin of Cape Girardeau; and a great-grandchild, Ella Pletcher of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by her father, sister and husband.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home Friday from 4 to 7 p.m.
The funeral will be at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Graveside service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Saint Louis at 1 p.m. Saturday.
